We stand behind the quality of every product sold at The Lume House. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we make returns and refunds easy and hassle-free. This policy outlines the terms of our return and refund process.
Return Window
You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to initiate a return. This window applies to all items purchased from The Lume House. Returns initiated after 30 days cannot be accepted.
To qualify for a return, the item must be:
Unused and in its original, resaleable condition
In original packaging with all included accessories and documentation
Not damaged by customer use, mishandling, or negligence
Return Process
Step 1: Contact Us - Email us at info@thelumehouse.com with your order number, item name, reason for return, and photos if the item is defective. We will respond within 1-2 business days.
Step 2: Prepare Your Return - Pack the item securely in its original packaging with all accessories and documentation.
Step 3: Ship It Back - Ship to the address provided in our return approval email. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective (we provide a prepaid label for defects). Use a tracked shipping method.
Step 4: Refund Processing - We inspect the item within 3-5 business days. If approved, your refund is processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method.
Non-Returnable Items
Custom or Personalized Items: Custom wall art, engraved frames, personalized curtains, or made-to-order pieces
Clearance Items: Final sale items marked Non-Returnable on the product page
Customer-Damaged Items: Items damaged due to misuse, improper installation, or modifications
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. To exchange an item, return the original for a refund and place a new order for the item you prefer.
Defective or Damaged Items
If your item arrives defective, broken, or damaged, take clear photos within 48 hours of delivery and contact us at info@thelumehouse.com with your order number and photos. Do not discard packaging. We will offer a free replacement, full refund, or partial refund depending on the situation. All defect claims must be made within 7 days of delivery.

Outbound Shipping: Non-refundable
Return Shipping: Customer pays unless return is due to defect or our error
Prepaid Return Labels: Provided for defective items only
